Born and raised in China, she built a successful entrepreneurial career before relocating to the United States as a new immigrant — learning a new language, understanding a new culture, and navigating a healthcare system that operates by entirely different rules.
In China, acupuncture and TCM are mainstream medicine. In America, she saw patients living with conditions that had well-established solutions in China but were simply out of reach here.
She saw the distance.
